Finally get started with FYP! So excited with my topic that I am doing. This time i am teaming up with Thin Hom. Hmm... I can't remember how many times I have teamed up with him but one time I am very certain this time is that Thin Hom has changed ever since the last project. He is much more pro-active and willing to take more responsibilty for the work he is doing. For instance, he is collecting information of the stock prices indexes and photocopying of relevent texts by his own initiative. If in the past, this thing will not happen without me telling him! Although he is not very good when comes to statistics, he has alway been of great help to me.

Hmm...talking about this FYP topic. It is not so simple as what we all have been doing in the Econometrics class. Although prior knowledge gained in Applied Econometrics, it doesn't help much when comes to stock market. For example, we have to abandon Eview and learn new mathematics software call MATLAB. It is a very complex program used by Professors that can work up matrices results. It is so powerful that it is not only used among statistician but also among engineers and I really appreciate the learning experience of using this software. At the same time, it has prompted me to think about this question. As an entreprenuer-wanna-be, am i wasting my time learning such a complex software in the future? Nevertheless, I still treat this FYP as my interest rather than academics project. Education is all about learning process out of your own interest.
